Privacy

WoodCalc Pro has no accounts, logins or database. Here is everything that happens with your data.

Calculator inputs

All calculations run in your browser. To save you retyping a job, each calculator stores your last inputs in your browser's localStorage on this device only. They are never sent to us. You can wipe them any time:

"Ask the shop" questions

When you press Ask, your question and the current calculator inputs and results are sent to our server and passed to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to write the answer. We don't store questions or answers, and we don't ask for your name or email. Please don't type personal information into the box. AI answers can be wrong; confirm anything structural with your building department or an engineer.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookie-less and doesn't build profiles of individual visitors.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and reliability.
